Before your spray tan appointment:              

• We recommend you obtain a patch test, if you have never used self-tanning products or have   sensitive skin.
• do not use any other self-tanning products 1 week prior to treatment.
• Using Norvell Amber Sun Body Scrub, exfoliate your entire body, focusing on dry areas like hands, elbows, knees, and ankles.  Do this the day before or morning of your spray tan.
• On the day of your airbrush tan service DO NOT wear any makeup, deodorant, perfume, body oils, or lotions as these may react with the tanning agents in the tanning solutions.
• Waxing should be done 4 days before your spray tan and shaving the day before.  The wax residue will block tanner absorption
• On rainy days don't forget your umbrella

During your spray tan appointment:

• Your skin will be prepared with Amber Sun xLaTan ph balancing spray, focusing on the hands, elbows, knees and feet.  ONce this step is completed your Norvell airbrush tan will be applied.
• The whole treatment takes approximately 15 minutes.  The initial brown color you see is not the tan itself, but the cosmetic color guide.  This color may rub off on clothing and/or underwear, but washes out of most fabrics.

Immediately after:

• Allow the tan to develop at least 6-8 hours (overnight if possible).
• Avoid water contact and activities that make you perspire.
• Do not apply products over the developing tan.
